High pressure will move into the Piedmont tonight and allow the wind to settle down. However, it will be much cooler for overnight lows with morning temps in the 20s. Then, we will start to see temperatures moderate somewhat throughout the abbreviated workweek. Look for highs getting back into the 60s by Wednesday with dry holiday travel conditions unless if you are headed east. A couple of storms will ride up the coast mid to late-week and bring rain to the eastern part of NC, but locally we will be dry.
