SAN ANTONIO – Spectrum News is currently monitoring two brush fires in Bexar County.

The first fire is in the Camp Bullis area, and is burning more than 30 acres. 

The San Antonio Fire Department currently has units in place specifically to the southwest of the fire, in case the fire presents any danger to homes or other structures in this area. Authorities are utilizing both natural and manmade fire breaks in the area as to ensure that residents in this area will not be in any danger.

Crews with the San Antonio Fire Department will remain in place until the threat of the fire has ended.

The second fire is in South Bexar County on Hardy Road. It has reached more than 20 acres, and is being fueled by high winds. This fire is also threatening homes.
