We saw a one day warm-up on Saturday. After a cold start to the day, the combination of sunshine and southerly winds pushed daytime highs to above average levels for mid-November.

A cold front will cross North Carolina through the night. This system will trigger scattered showers from the overnight, into very early Sunday morning. Behind the front, skies will clear. We'll see cooler temperatures along with breezy conditions for the seond half of the weekend.

High pressure will build over the state on Monday. This will set us up for a cold start to the new week on Monday morning and cool afternoon highs on Monday afternoon.

We'll see a slight warming trend into the middle of the week.
