One Queens mother  is using a  childrens book to tell the story of organ donations. 

Nadine Morsi wrote "Kinsey's Kidney Adventure" after her daughter Kinsey received a kidney transplant.

We first told you about the then 5 year-old in 2014, who was suffering from end-stage kidney failure and in search of a donor.

Thankfully, after an extensive search, a donor was found.

Morsi says she wanted to help other families dealing with similar issues. "I wanted to produce something that would be beneficial to other families and parents and specifically children that were going through the same experience."

The book became the number one new release under the category of 'children's illnesses and children's disease' books on Amazon in less than 24 hours.
