WASHINGTON -- A new study shows international student enrollment at U.S. colleges has declined.

The Institute of International Education said it saw a 7 percent drop in the number of foreign students enrolling in the fall.

Colleges say it's not as bad as they predicted, but it is a wake-up call. Many say the enrollment decline is due President Trump's travel ban and reports of violence against immigrants.
