After Saturday’s chilly temperatures we’ll see warmer conditions for Sunday, although temperatures will still be running on the cool side for this time of the year. You can expect more and more clouds moving in from the west, and by late afternoon much of central North Carolina will be mostly cloudy.

A system moving across the state overnight will bring a chance of showers late tonight into early Monday. Areas east of I-95 will see the best chance for a soggy Monday morning. Clearing from west to east over the course of Monday afternoon, then mostly sunny skies return for Tuesday and Wednesday.

For the rest of the workweek look for dry conditions with temperatures gradually warming to near normal levels.
