AUSTIN, Texas - Thursday night was all about the kids at Partnerships for Children's Heart Gallery Reveal event.

The event revealed the photos Partnerships for Children will use for children who will be up for adoption in the area next year.

Donors, volunteers and even adoptive families brought together by the program attended the event.

Texas First Lady and adoptive mother Cecilia Abbott even made an appearance to say a few words.

Partnerships for Children says the event is a good way to show how everyone can help in finding these kids a forever home.

"Whether or not you can even be a foster or adoptive parent, you can support these kids or support a family that is fostering or adopting. There's so many ways that you can help. That's a big part of it, too, that … no family is in it alone. We need as a community to support these kids, support the families," said Kori Gough, executive director of Partnerships for Children.

Most of the children in the program are older or sibling groups.

Partnerships for Children says the chances of adoption for these kids jumped from under 1 percent all the way up to 63 percent since the Heart Gallery program began.
