A Brooklyn mother was taken into police custody this week after she allegedly left her two young daughters alone in a parked car.

Investigators say Nidia Joseph-Delgado left her car running and unlocked outside of LaGuardia Airport Wednesday afternoon.

Port Authority Police say when they found her two girls inside, the girls told police they were not sure where their mother had gone.

When police got a hold of Joseph-Delgado, she allegedly told them she was at a job interview.

She is now facing two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
