NEW YORK - Police are looking for a man they say is behind a series of subway robberies in Midtown.
Investigators say the man has stolen jewelry from four people over the last two months.
On Saturday afternoon, the man allegedly took a chain off a 19-year-old woman's neck at the 42nd Street subway station on the 4, 5, and 6 lines before running away.
Police believe the same man carried out three similar robberies at the 59th Street subway station at Lexington Avenue.
He was last seen wearing a Yankees cap, a gray long sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
