A man is now facing several charges after police say he committed a string of sexual assaults in Brooklyn yesterday.

They say 26-year-old Keith Wiggins attacked a woman at gunpoint near Fountain Avenue and Linden Boulevard in East New York.

That was just before 7 a.m.

Then a half hour later, he allegedly tried to assault a 15-year-old girl who managed to get away.

Then around 9 o'clock, there was another woman, police say was attacked on Jerome Street near McClancy Place.

Investigators say Wiggins was later arrested while returning a car to JFK.

Those we spoke who live near where the incidents took place say police need to ramp up security measures.

"We got a lot of young women passing through here with no cops to be found," said one neighbor. "Dead-end factories, a lot of serial killers through here, you know you need more patrol more cops around working the neighborhood and it's sad you know."

"It's just a shame and I hope if this guy did it they put him away," said another.

Wiggins now faces several charges, including rape and criminal sex act.
