SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio River Authority is celebrating the installation of two new solar panels.
The panels were placed on the Martinez Two Wastewater Treatment Facility in Converse earlier this year. The panels will provide about $12,000 in annual energy savings over the next 20 years.
The installation was made possible by a partnership with SolarHost SA. The company works with CPS Energy to provide free solar panels to business and residential customers.
