Police arrested a man Saturday night accused of raping an incapacitated woman in her bed at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital.
37-year-old Keith Nembhard of the Bronx is being charged with second-degree rape, police said Monday.
He was allegedly caught red-handed by a nurse who was checking on the 32-year-old victim Friday around 5:55 p.m.
Police said the victim has been incapacitated from complications from a stroke, and, because of her condition, there was no way for her to consent or defend herself.
Nembhard is an acquaintance of the victim, according to officials.
Investigators said he was arrested at the hospital.
Police are investigating.
