NEW YORK - Harlem, Brooklyn, and Queens are going blue today as Citi Bike begins it's latest expansion.

Over the next month, the bike share program will roll out the last phase off its 2017 expansion campaign.

An additional 140 docks are on the way to Astoria, Long Island City, Crown Heights, and Prospect Heights, as well as Manhattan up to 130th Street.

This fullfills the company's promise to bring the number of Citi Bikes to 12,000 before the end of the year.

That's double the number from when the system launched in 2013.
