A Rockaway Beach fighter is discussing his battles in and out of the ring in a new book.

Christopher Romulo's memoir titled "Champions Uprising: Fall 7 Times... Get Up 8" is officially on the shelves.

In the book,  the Queens Village native talks about how studying Muay Thai changed him from a street fighter to a professional one.

Romulo also details finding his studio under water after Hurricane Sandy and his recovery after the storm. He hopes his story inspires others.

"I want to make sure I'm reaching people that sometimes feel like they are stuck or out of control in life, and I want to help people take decisive control over their minds and wise up," said Romulo. "These kind of things help people, you know, get up and fight.”

E-book and print versions of Champions Uprising are now available on Amazon.
