NEW YORK - The New York City Police Department has released new images of a man they say robbed two women in Manhattan by threatening them with acid.

Investigators say the man is responsible for cornering the women while they took out money at an Upper East Side ATM in separate incidents.

They say both times, he threatened to throw acid in their faces if they did not hand over the cash.

It's not clear how much money he made off with.

Neither woman was injured.

It happened at the Citibank ATM on First Avenue and 68th Street.

He first hit the location on May 12 and then again about two weeks later.
