NEW YORK - The New York City Police Department is looking for a robber who threw hot coffee on two women in Manhattan last week.

They say the man approached the women inside the Essex Street subway station around 9:45 a.m on August 21.

He allegedly snatched five dollars from one victim, then threw hot coffee on both of them to get away.

The man is described as 45 to 55 years old, with a beard, and salt-and-pepper hair.
