The man accused of killing an EMT in the Bronx earlier this year will be in court Friday.
Jose Gonzalez will appear in Bronx Criminal Court, where a judge will rule on motions filed by his defense team.
Prosecutors say Gonzalez stole Yadira Arroyo's ambulance back on March 16 and ran her over while she was responding to a call in Soundview.
In his last court appearance, the 25-year-old pleaded not guilty to murder, manslaughter and robbery charges.
His attorneys say he has a history of mental illness.
Arroyo was a 14-year-veteran of the FDNY and left behind five children.
She was 44-years-old.
