Pinwheels are spinning in Prospect Park in celebration of its 150th anniversary.

Seven thousand of them make up "The Connective Project."

The art installation is taking over the park's Rose Garden until July 17.

New Yorkers were asked to submit their own pinwheel designs.

It's not too late to add your own to the bunch.

"We got really beautiful submissions of what Prospect Park means to them, from artists, from notables, from kids at school, from the community in total. And they did a wonderful job. We have all this beautiful imagery on these gorgeous pinwheels. And on top of that, for 10 days you can come to the park, make your own pinwheel while this is up, and add it to the third section. So it will be ever-evolving," said Area 4 Co-founder Grainne Cohen.

If you need help finding the Rose Garden, look for the yellow pinwheels drawn around the park.
