Wake and funeral arrangements are made for Officer Miosotis Familia.
Meantime the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation announced it is donating $100,000 to her family.
Relatives of Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, who were killed in a similar fashion in 2014, pledged $5,000 each.
The Dallas Police Association donated $2,500.
The NYPD says Familia was assassinated while on the job early Wednesday morning in the Bronx.
The CEO of the Siller Foundation promised her family they won't have to worry about finances.
"New Yorkers and people from all over this country are going to join us, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in helping to take care of you," said foundation CEO Frank Siller.
"Two and a half years ago, we're standing here again talking about the same thing," said NYPD Chief Terence A. Monahan. "It's something that has to change."

Familia's wake will be held Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at World Changers Church in the Bronx.
Her funeral will take place the following day at 10 a.m.
