Two alleged MS-13 gang members are under arrest in connection with a shooting here in the city.
Roberto Abrego and Jose Alvarenga of Long Island face several charges including murder and criminal weapons possession.
The NYPD says the two men shot Fernando Gonzalez-Chavez in front of the 7-and-7 deli in Flushing just before midnight May 30.
He was hit in the chest and died at the scene.
Police say the 39-year-old Bayside resident was not affiliated with any gangs.
It's unclear why he was shot, but police say it may have been over money.
