American Airlines is dedicating an airplane to a record-setting employee.

Azriel Blackman, 91, has worked as a mechanic with the airline for 75 years, breaking the Guinness world record in the process.

A Boeing 777 will now feature Blackman's signature, a design painted in his honor and a plaque that will be visible to fliers.

Blackman has been with the company since 1942, when he signed on as a sheet metal shop apprentice at 50 cents an hour.

"Working here and working with all my friends and all the people I've known for so many years has been a pleasure," Blackman said. "Skillful people who know what they're doing."

Although Blackman isn't allowed to climb ladders or use tools anymore, he says he loves his job and has no plans to retire.
