One person is dead and several others are injured after a multi-vehicle crash on the Grand Central Parkway in Queens on Sunday, police said.
Investigators said it happened around 6:26 a.m. near 188th St. Four cars were involved in the collision.
Police said one person died at the scene and eight others suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Five people in total were taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
It is not clear what caused the crash.
Drivers on the parkway have seen delays after the crash.
