12 people were hurt Saturday afternoon after a car struck several people on a Harlem sidewalk after rear-ending an MTA bus, according to the FDNY.

"I thought we were going to be hit," one witness said. "We heard a boom, and then next thing you know it was right up on us."

The FDNY said it happened on East 125th St. near Park Ave., and they received the call of the incident at 12:04 p.m.

The car mounted the sidewalk after the driver hit the bus, sources told NY1.

Eight people on the sidewalk were hurt, along with two people in the car and two police officers who responded to the scene, according to the FDNY.

Two of those civilians are in critical but stable condition, the fire department said. One victim suffered moderate injuries, and seven have minor injuries.

The two officers also suffered minor injuries.

First responders used the Jaws of Life to extricate passengers from the vehicle.

The crash is currently considered an accident, sources said.

Witnesses said the car was driving at a high rate of speed east on 125 St. when it tried to make a U-turn and it was clipped by the bus. The car then spun out of control and came to a stop in front of a Wendy's near Park Ave.

The patients were taken to local hospitals.

125 St. between Park and Madison Avenues is still blocked off.
