The legendary Rucker Park basketball court in Harlem now bears the name of the man who helped put it on the map.

Mayor de Blasio joined former NBA players and celebrities yesterday for a ceremony to rename it "Greg Marius Court."

Marius was the owner and CEO of the Entertainment Basketball Classic tournament, which has been pitting amateur and professional players against each other for decades.

He died of cancer in April, but the mayor says his legacy lives on.

"Do you know how many young people were inspired, how many good young people found something to believe in because of what happened here," de Blasio said. "Something to aspire to. Something that gave them hope. And all of them continue their lives carrying that with them. That's what Greg Marius did."

The mayor also dubbed June 26th, Greg Marius Day.
