NEW YORK - Thrill seekers will want to zip over to Governors Island this summer for a new attraction that has visitors flying high.

The zipline, which reaches heights of 300 feet, is more than just an adrenaline rush.

It also provides spectacular views of Lower Manhattan.

If you think you'll get cold feet, don't worry - organizers say it's perfectly safe to zip.

"It's actually very family oriented. We picked this particular model because we wanted everyone to be able to experience a zip line. And with the over 2,200 people we've already put on it since Memorial Day weekend, most of them have said this is their first time," said Adventures at Governors Island Managing Director Beau Berni.

The zip line will be open for the rest of the season on Governor's Island.
