Tenants of three Brooklyn buildings say their landlords are forcing them out of their rent-stabilized homes, and they're calling on the city to put an end to it.

Members of the People's Garden of of Bushwick Coalition have posted signs outside the buildings in protest.

They say since the GRJ LLC bought the buildings last summer, they've had to deal with construction as harassment, repeated buyout offers and frivolous court proceedings.

They also claim that the superindendent is incompetent and threatens and sexually harasses tenants.

"It's not that this landlord doesn't have the means or the ability to correctly repair and address the issues in the building. He's instead chosen to hire this super who he knows will make life so uncomfortable, so miserable for the tenants that they'll want to leave," said Sam Chiera of Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation A.

"I stopped paying the rent because, like, you're not fixing my apartment, I'm not paying the rent, and now we're still in court. The case got dismissed and I think they're going to sue me again," said one tenant.

NY1 has reached out to the building owners for a response.
