Police are questioning a person in connection with two violent incidents in Harlem within the past two weeks.

The latest happened early Thursday morning on 146th St. near 7th Ave. in Harlem.

Police say the man in the surveillance video sexually assaulted and robbed a German woman staying at a nearby Airbnb.

Police said the video showed a man confronting the victim and taking her purse.

He allegedly punched her in the face repeatedly, knocked her out, and sexually assaulted her.

The victim was treated at the hospital for trauma to her face.

Police believe the same man robbed a different woman in Harlem on April 24.

In each case, police said, the suspect threatened the victim with a gun.

"Right now, they look to be the same case, the same M.O., without the sexual assault in the first one," NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said. "So we're going to see if we can pick him up and see if he did both crimes. That's where we stand right now with the case."

Police have not yet released the suspect's identity.
