NEW YORK - "The Pickle Guys" are back on the Lower East Side.

The popular store on Essex Street found itself in a pickle last year when it got priced out of its previous location.

But after some help from a local community group, it's now reopened across the street.

"We make everything the old fashion way, like they did in 1910. Everything here is barrel-cured, and we've been doing it for many, many years now," said The PIckle Guys Co-Owner William Soo.

"Amazing, probably the best pickle I've ever had," said one customer.

"They just have the best new pickles in the world. I just like them, I like the pickles when they're fresh and new," added another loyal customer.

The Pickle Guys plan on serving new items at the location, including burgers and fried okra.
