NEW YORK - Cyclists are greasing up their chains for the Five Boro Bike Tour this Sunday.

If you still need to gear up, the Bike New York Expo on the Lower East Side can help you out.

Free and open to the public Friday and Saturday, the expo at Pier 36 at Basketball City features the latest and greatest in bikes, equipment, and accessories.

There's also a flat tire fixing contest, giveaways, and other activities.

Roughly 60,000 bicyclists are expected to pass through.

Organizers say it doesn't matter if you're a road race champion or have never rode on two wheels.

"There's something for everyone, no matter who you are. If you're an avid cyclist, you'll see the latest state-of-the-art gear here. If you don't know how to ride, come here, we'll teach you how to ride. Tomorrow kids, today adults. It's gonna be all good, it's all fun," said Bike New York President and CEO Ken Podziba.

Kickstands go up for the 40th edition of the Five Boro Bike Tour on Sunday.
