Police are looking for an ex-con they say shot and killed his wife in Brooklyn.

Cops are looking for 30-year-old Gabino Genao.

They say he has 15 prior arrests, including for robbery and assault.

He allegedly shot his wife, 30 year-old- Ivelisse Alvarado-Genao after the two got into a domestic dispute.

She was found with a gunshot wound to her head around 11:15 p.m. Friday near West 36th Street and Canal Avenue in Coney Island.

Family members say she was at an uncle's house celebrating Memorial Day weekend.

They're now asking for the public's help finding Genao.

"He took away a mother, lost two daughters, one is nine, one is five," said brother-in-law Christopher Crespo. "So what we're asking for now from the community, city of New York, is that if they can help us catch this individual. He has ties to New York, Florida, Puerto Rico."

Here's another look at the suspect.

Cops say he's 6 feet tall, weighs around 200 pounds, and was last seen wearing all-black clothing.
