A local tattoo parlor is doing its part to help the victims of the Manchester attack.

Clash City Tattoo in the East Village is inking Manchester Bees on anyone who wants one, for $50.

All proceeds will go to people affected by Monday's bombing that killed 23 people and left dozens more injured.

One of the tattoo artists is from the nearby city of Liverpool and explains why the bee is significant.

"I kind of got the idea from a tattoo studio in Manchester who were doing it," said Baz Shailes, an artist at Clash City. "The bee has been the kind of logo for like the longest time, when it was part of the industrial north, it was kind of like the worker bee, the busy bee type thing. Manchester utilizes it in public transport and a lot of their logos around the city. So it's actually become like a really good symbol for Manchester itself."

Shop owners say they are offering the tattoos on a first come, first served basis.
