NEW YORK - Investigators are looking into what caused a fire inside a popular pizzeria in the East Village early Friday morning.
The city fire department says flames broke out shortly after 5 a.m. Friday inside the walls of Artichoke Pizza on 14th Street between First and Second avenues.
The fire reached the third floor of the six-story building before firefighters got it under control.
No injuries were reported.
