The feds say the CFO for the company that owns the infamous Soup Nazi license is in hot water.

Robert Bertrand, the CFO of Soupman Inc., which licenses the popular "Soup Nazi" character from Seinfeld, has been accused of failing to pay more than $500,000 in Medicare, Social Security and federal income taxes.

The U.S. attorney's office says Bertrand paid employees on the side and gave them large stock awards, and never reported them to the IRS or paid trust fund taxes.

If found guilty, he could face up to five years behind bars.

The Staten Island-based company's total approximate unreported cash and stock compensation was greater than $2.85 million, according to the U.S. attorney's office.

The "Soup Nazi" was a character from a popular Seinfeld episode who would say "No soup for you!" to people who aggravated him while ordering.
