Police make an arrest in the beating of two men last week in Manhattan.
Investigators say 18-year-old Branlee Gonzalez is being charged with assault for allegedly repeatedly punching two victims in the head and face.
Police sources say the 69-year-old victim is brain dead, while the 39-year-old victim was not seriously hurt.
It all happened early last Thursday morning on Sherman Avenue near Dyckman Street in Inwood.
Police say Gonzalez and a woman were walking down the street when the two victims began catcalling her.
That’s when he allegedly took offense and began punching both men.
