If you're looking for some summer fun, then  jump aboard the Waterfront Museum in Brooklyn.

The historical barge is kicking off its summer program this weekend with music, art, and some juggling acts.

The vessel is docked in Red Hook.

Dubbed a floating classroom, the museum tells the story about how goods used to be carried to and from New York harbor.

With the recently launched city-wide ferry service, the ship's owner hopes a steady stream of new visitors will be coming.

"I think people have discovered Red Hook and they like to come down, but as you make it more accessible and easier to get yourself here I think people will be able to come and come back again with friends and families," said Waterfront Museum Founder and President David Sharps.

The museum also offers pirate shows and educational workshops.
