Police are looking for two men who they say made off with thousands of dollars after confronting a man carrying a bag of cash in the Bronx earlier this month.

It happened back on March 8 on Buhre Avenue in Middletown-Pelham Bay.

Police say a 27-year-old man was carrying $48,000 in cash.

He was approached by one man who tried to grab the bag, the money spilled on the sidewalk as another man starting fighting with the victim.

Police say the robbers made off with about $21,000.

The victim suffered minor injuries.
