The man accused of killing an EMT worker in the Bronx last month pled not guilty Wednesday in court.

Prosecutors say 25-year-old Jose Gonzalez ran Yadira Arroyo over with her own ambulance while she and her partner were responding to a call in Soundview.

He is charged with murder, manslaughter and robbery.

Dozens of EMTs appeared at the courthouse in Concourse as a show of support for Arroyo's family and co-workers.

They say Gonzalez deserves to spend time behind bars.

"How can this man plead not guilty? The evidence speaks for itself. No one does this to my member," said EMS Union President Israel Miranda.

"We're trained medical professionals to put everything to the side. However, with this, we have no choice but to be biased about it because this is our sister who helped people like that on a daily basis! We're disgusted and we want justice," said Luis Montalvo, an FDNY EMT.

Arroyo left behind five children and was a 14-year veteran of the FDNY.

She was 44 years old.

Gonzalez is due back in court in August.
