A former NYPD sergeant caught with child pornography on his computer has been sentenced to 28 years in prison.

Alberto Randazzo, 40, directed victims' mothers to molest their children and send him pictures and videos of the abuse.

He pleaded guilty last year to two counts of conspiracy to sexually exploit a child and one count of receipt of child pornography.

At the time of his arrest in 2013, he had been with the NYPD for 15 years.

Three of the women he solicited were also charged. One was sentenced to five years, one is awaiting sentencing and the other is awaiting trial.
