A cyclist is in serious condition after being hit by a truck in Queens.
Police say the 27-year-old man was struck while biking on 43rd Avenue and 39th Street in Sunnyside around 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators say the truck and biker were going in the same direction when the driver turned right onto 39th Street and slammed into the victim.
He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital and is expected to recover.
The driver remained at the scene.
Just 10 days ago, another cyclist was struck and killed at the same intersection.
Officials are calling on the Transportation Department to make safety improvements to the street.
