The NYPD put out surveillance video of the shooting near Hancock Street and Broadway in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 10:30 p.m. on April 3.

You can see the gunman walk into the frame from the lower left corner and lift up his weapon to shoot.

Police say he shot a 32-year-old man five times before running away.

The victim survived.

It's not clear why the gunman opened fire.
