An investigation is ongoing after a man was fatally shot on Staten Island on Friday night.
Police said officers, responding to a 911 call of shots fired at Morning Star Road and Kalver Place around 8:46 p.m., found a 42-year-old man shot multiple times in his torso.
The man was taken to a local hospital, officials said, where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests at this time. The victim's identity has not yet been released.
