Police have arrested a man in connection with a woman found shot to death Monday night inside a public housing building in the Bronx.
The NYPD arrested 22-year-old Davaughn Johnson, who lives in the building, and he is charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
Around 10:30 p.m. officers say they found Aaliyah Alder, 21, in the eighth floor stairwell of a building located at 965 Tinton Avenue in the Forest Houses in Morrisania.
She had been shot once in the head.
It's not clear what may have led to her killing.
