Tens of thousands of runners are taking a little jaunt around Manhattan for the borough's annual half-marathon.

The race kicked off this morning at Central Park's East Drive, just north of 72nd street.

Around 20,000 runners from across the world, both professional and recreational, are participating.

The course goes up to Harlem, down through Times Square, along the Hudson River waterfront, and finishes at Wall and Water Street in lower Manhattan.

About 1,000 kids are also running in the third annual 1500-meter Times Square Youth Run.

Young runners start at 47th street and 7th avenue, go up to 57th and loop back to 47th.
