Coffee lovers in the Bronx will have to find another place to get their morning Joe.
Short Stop Coffeeshop on Broadway near 242nd street in Kingsbridge will serve up its last cup today.
An employee says it hasn't been able to keep up with the rising rents and the changing neighborhood.
Some customers say they stopped by for one last meal.
"So we had to come and reminisce a little bit with our cook who remembered us from 20 years ago," said one diner. "And we're sad to that it's closing."
The shop has been in business for 30 years.
An employee says a bar will replace the coffeshop.
The shop is selling shirts for people who want take a piece of the restaurant with them.
