Police need the public's help finding the person they say robbed a mosque in Queens earlier this week.
Investigators say they stole around $1,500 in cash Wednesday from the Islamic Center of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Long Island City.
They say around 9 p.m. the robber entered the mosque through a back door on Crescent Street near 38th Avenue.
Police believe they used some kind of tool to open a donation box.
They say the person also forced an office door open and took money from a desk inside.
