Uber says it is buying plane tickets for stranded drivers affected by Trump's travel ban, following last night’s federal ruling.

CEO Travis Kalanick tweeted last night that he was quote "buying a whole bunch of airline tickets."

On Thursday, Kalanick quit President Trump’s business advisory group following intense pressure from customers.

A "delete Uber" movement spread through social media last weekend, with critics accusing the company of trying to profit off protests at JFK airport featuring yellow taxi drivers.

Uber responded, saying it pledged to support its drivers affected by the ban.
