NEW YORK - A Brooklyn man is facing murder charges for allegedly stabbing a woman inside her Manhattan home over the weekend.
Police say 34-year-old Alexander Felix broke into the home of 48-year-old Eloise Liz on West 153rd Street and killed her early Saturday morning.
They found her with multiple stab wounds on her body and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
"This is the second death in this building as you know. So I don't know. I don't know what the story is, I've heard a lot of stuff on the news about this about that, but I don't judge her for that. She's been a wonderful person to me," said one neighbor.
Felix is charged with second degree murder and burglary.
Police say he has ten prior arrests.
They say they do not think Felix and Liz had any connection to each other.
