A public bookstore may soon return to the Bronx.

Aspiring shop owner Noelle Santos surpassed her $100,000 fundraising goal to open a new book shop.

She plans to name the store "The Lit Bar" and says it would double as a wine bar and community space.

Santos says despite reaching her fundraising goal, she's still trying to raise as much money as possible.

So far, donors have pitched in about $110,000 to give Bronxites a place to go book shopping.

The borough was left without a single public book shop after a Barnes and Noble in Co-op City closed in December.

Santos is looking to open the new shop in the south Bronx by the end of the year.
