A judge has delayed the sentencing for the man convicted of murdering 6-year-old Etan Patz.

On Feb. 14, a jury found Pedro Hernandez guilty of second-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping in connection with the decades-old case.

Etan was on his way to his school bus stop in SoHo in May 1979 when he disappeared.

Hernandez was set to be sentenced next week, but his lawyer requested a delay to investigate whether a juror may have known during proceedings that members of the first jury were in the audience.

Prosecutors objected to the defense's request.

This was Hernandez's second trial, after the first one ended in a hung jury.

The lawyers will be back in court next Tuesday for a hearing about the jury concern.
