BERKELEY, Calif. — Protests at University of California at Berkeley turned violent Wednesday night.

People on the California campus gathered against a far-right conservative scheduled to speak that night.

Milo Yiannopoulos, a Breitbart News personality, is a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump and a self-proclaimed internet troll.

The college's Republican club invited the speaker, prompting several student groups to organize the protest in hopes of shutting down the talk.
